Each of our promotions are valid for specific time frames only and we are unable to apply promotional prices to orders outside of that time frame.

There are many perks to registering for an account! Accounts allow our Customer Care team to assist you more quickly and efficiently. They also allow you to view your order history, receive up to date order statuses, you get your very own wish list to create and share as you please. 

We have two different types of products: 

1) Branded Products - This includes Blue q socks, KBell socks and Uptown socks. These socks order will be ready to go by April 9th 2024. This applies to orders with only branded socks. If a custom product(s) is in the same order we will mail all of the items when the custom product(s) are produced and finalized. 

2) Custom Products - This includes our custom socks and accessories. We make these items personally. Please check your custom product for the production timeline. 

Please add production time to shipping time. 

  • Our free standard shipping option is regular mail sent through Canada Post.
  • Tracking is not available with our free standard shipping option. 
  • The estimate arrival date for standard shipping is 2 - 14 business days. 
  • We cannot guarantee delivery dates. We do not control the speed of Canada Post. We do process orders within the production time. 
  • Delays you may experience are caused by Canada Post. We assume if you order on a tight timeline you understand the risk is yours. 
  • Tracking is available with expedited shipping or xpresspost shipping.  
  • If there are any errors in the address it is not our responsibility to refund or replace the order. The order will be lost or returned to sender. The customer may be responsible for the cost of shipment. 
  • Delivery standards are based on normal delivery conditions and are subject to change without notice. The on-time delivery guarantee may be modified during peak period (see canadapost.ca/notice) or suspended due to causes beyond Canada Post’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, epidemics, labour disruptions, equipment failures or unanticipated surges in volume.  
  • Orders are mailed from Devon, Alberta

When shipping parcels in December, view the holiday sending guidelines for information on when to send packages between Canadian urban centers. 

We only ship to the shipping address provided at checkout and cannot ship to multiple addresses. Please consider placing multiple orders should you desire your items to ship to various locations.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal

Our software requires that we charge credit cards at point of sale. Please refer to the Returns or Cancellations sections of our policies page should your order require a refund.

We are happy to help! Simply send us an email via our contact page, if we receive your email prior to processing your order, we are happy to make the changes to your order, but once it has begun processing we are no longer able to make changes to your order. (This does not apply to our custom socks)

Please make sure to carefully review your order before submitting it.

It is our goal to ship your order as quickly as possible, therefore it is possible that your order may ship before a cancellation request has been seen by our customer care department. Cancellation requests may be sent via our contact page, and if your order has not begun processing, we would be happy to honor your request at that time. Custom Products are non-refundable and are a final sale. 

Although our fulfillment error rate is far below industry average, mistakes do sometimes happen. Please notify us via our contact page, and we’ll get it sorted out for you!

Though each product is inspected for quality assurance before shipping, it is possible to receive a damaged item. For this reason it is important to open and inspect your items as soon as you receive them. Please notify us via our contact page within 5 business days of receiving your package if there is anything wrong with your item(s).

Delays may take 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year. 

Branded Socks: We will gladly accept returns in unused condition and in their original packaging within 10 days of receiving your shipment. 

Custom Products: All sales are final and we do not accept any returns or exchanges.  

Please contact us before we have fulfilled your order. If your order has already been fulfilled we are unable to make changes. If your order is returned to our warehouse. We can resend it to the right address but there will be additional charges for shipping. 

Refunds or replacements are not available for items that are delayed, lost or returned because incorrect or incomplete address information.

Better photo = better socks! 

Here are some simple tips

  • Straight on shots of the person/pet tend to look best on the socks
  • Get the entire face/body of the pet/person (including the ears!) in the picture
  • Good consistent lighting on the face (outside shots with natural light are ideal, especially for darker pets!)
  • Nothing obstructing the view of the face (ex: grass, blanket, trees, etc)
  • Good resolution standard digital camera/smartphone or better 
  • Avoid taking a photo of a physical photo

The Sock Bar Custom Socks Photo Guide

Due to copyright/trademark laws, we are not allowed to put celebrities, characters (ex: Disney, Nintendo), symbols, logos, icons and other famous marks not owned by you on socks. 

Even if it is your picture we are still unable to put the celebrity on the socks as you still do not have the right to use their likeness. 

If we receive an image anyways our customer service team will email you once the photo is flagged requesting a new photo or your order will be canceled and refunded. 

Absolutely, we can do whatever you want! We have made socks with cows, reptiles, birds, horses, guinea pigs plus so many more.  Company logos, buildings, vehicles or a drawing works too!  

Depending on the picture our design team will keep or remove the item.  If you have a preference please contact us and let us know to include or remove. 

To ensure the quickest production and delivery time, we are not able to send a preview before production.

If your pet is wearing an accessory or outfit, please let our design team know if you would like it in included or excluded. If not preference given our design team will make the call. 


Custom All White Socks - 95% polyester, 5% spandex

Custom Black Sole Socks - The black sole is 95% cotton and 5% Spandex; the white part is 95% polyester and 5% spandex

Custom Dress Socks - 70% polyester, 25% cotton, 5% elastane/spandex

We strive to produce the socks quickly which allows little time to make changes to the order. Please contact us as soon as possible and if we have not started the process we would be happy to make a change or cancel the order. 

Each custom product has production time which is available right above the add to cart button. Add production time to shipping time.

2-14 Business Days for free standard shipping (no tracking)

Design and Production time may increase during holidays.

The best way to get in touch with us is through our contact page, as all emails are typically responded to within 1 - 5 business days. Thank you for your understanding.

There are typically two reasons we’ve found that customers may not receive our reply. The most common reason is that our email has been automatically filtered to a junk/spam mail folder due to mail settings and filters set up on the email account. Please always be sure to check your junk/spam folder, in addition to your inbox.  The other reason we typically find is that there was a typo in the email address when the contact form was filled out, and our reply was sent back to us as undeliverable. If you are still unable to locate an email reply from us within 5 business days, we ask that you please submit your inquiry again via our contact page.
